Experience

• I worked for over 10 years at the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland, Department of Patent Research, Division of Biotechnology and Pharmacy, including:
  - for 6 years as a Patent Examiner, where I considered applications for inventions in the field of pharmacy, medicine, chemistry and biotechnology, conducted prior art and patentability searches and issued decisions in these matters
  - I prepared international research reports (ISR) and written opinions (WO) for the Visegrad Patent Institute (VPI)
  - for over 7 years I was a member of the Boards of Appeal of the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland, where I adjudicated in disputes regarding revocation of Polish and European patents in the field of pharmacy and supplementary protection certificates
  - for over 4 years I was a controller in the Quality Control Section operating within the Division of Biotechnology and Pharmacy
  - I attended numerous trainings organized by the European Patent Academy
  
  
• I worked for over 4 years as an IP specialist in one of the leading patent law firms in Poland, where, among others:
  - I participated in the preparation of national, European and international applications for inventions in the field of pharmacy, medicine, chemistry, biotechnology, material engineering and mechanics, motions for supplementary protection certificates, and I participated in proceedings before patent offices in these cases
  - I conducted prior art, patentability and freedom to operate searches
  - I prepared motions for revocation of patents in the field of pharmacy and participated in dispute proceedings before the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland
  - I prepared legal opinions
  - I verified translations of patent descriptions in order to validate European patents
